Job Description
- Review and enter invoices timely and accurately. This includes but is not limited to coding invoices, matching purchase orders with tickets and obtaining approval.
- Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Reconcile vendor statements monthly.
- Manage vendor relations and build effective partnerships.
- Research, and resolve any invoice discrepancies to root cause.
- Send remittance information to Vendors weekly after payments are processed.
- Ensure all accounts payable policies and procedures are adhered to including new vendor approval process and invoice processing.
- Maintain accurate and orderly accounting files.
- Provide necessary team coverage and ensure daily tasks are completed.
- Assist with reporting and special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Assists management in the identification and resolution of problems.
- Assist team with gathering support for all audits, including pulling documentation.
- Drive continuous efficiency and effectiveness in day-to-day activities.

- Associate Degree or equivalent experience required
- 1-3 years previous Accounts Payable experience
- Ability to interact with individuals and departments throughout the organization
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Accurate and Detail oriented, with the ability to follow through on tasks and objectives
- Ability to function effectively as part of a team
- Strong written and oral English communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- PC Proficiency, knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Some knowledge of Accounting principles and terminology Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
