Accounts Payable Clerk

GENERAL Position Overview Responsible for the processing of invoices and accuracy of the Accounts Payable system. Invoices, credits and payments are processed through the computer system. Assists the CFO and Controller with maintaining general ledger and processing accounting data as necessary. Participates in the department's performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education High School graduate or equivalent required; additional education or business school training preferred to include accounting or bookkeeping courses. Experience Two or more years of experience in accounts payable. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic Microsoft computer skills a must including Excel and outlook; knowledge of Cerner and Multiview preferred; proficient in the use of standard office equipment and automated A/P procedures preferred; basic clerical office practices and procedures required; general bookkeeping skills preferred.
