Towson, MD The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is seeking a detail-oriented individual for an Accounts Payable Processor opportunity in our Towson Maryland office. The person will assist timely processing of invoices and payments to vendors.

Responsibilities:

Proper vendor coding Invoice data entry Recognition of remittance address Recognition of invoice numbers Balance and review edits and purchase journals Creating cash disbursement journals Print or create checks and direct deposit data Calling vendors to verify bank information Calling vendors to verify invoice and statement amounts Scanning invoices Reconciling vendor statements

Qualifications:

Accounting degree or candidate preferred Well organized Comfortable handling high volume of electronic transactions

Skills:

Telephone communication skills required Ability to work in a fast paced team environment Software utilized: CMiC, Excel, Kofax This is an entry level position, the ideal candidate must have or have the ability to grow into the above qualifications. •The Company's pay ranges are dependent on a number of factors including but not limited to role, previous internships with the Company, education experience, and location.
