Description Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist handles timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices while supporting the Finance and Accounting departments.Duties and Responsibilities:

Matches and enters supplier invoices in a timely manner while maximizing all discounts Verifies receipt of all materials and services Works with vendors as well as with other internal departments on resolving problem invoices Insures proper GL coding Assists with sorting and processing of e-mails from the general Accounts Payable inbox Reconcile monthly vendor statements Assists in advanced tasks as part of training and development Contributes to team by identifying areas of improvement Provides support to Finance and Accounting departments as neededSkills:
Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented Works well within a team and independently Proficiency withExcel and Word Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent w/0-1 years' experienceAll Employees Shall:
