This position is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and able to communicate professionally with both internal staff and external vendors. Responsibilities Review, code, and process vendor invoices Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate records and filing systems Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries Assist with month-end closing and reporting Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures Work closely with payroll, project managers, and office staff as needed Perform other administrative/accounting duties as assigned Qualifications Previous accounts payable or accounting experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Construction industry experience is a plus Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options We offer competitive wages, benefits, and steady year-round work.
