Rears Manufacturing Company is a manufacturer of agricultural equipment with national distribution through dealerships and direct customer sales. Job listing details follow- for more information about Rears Mfg, please see the end of this listing. This is a full time position: on-site day shift, Monday - Friday. Rears industrial campus is conveniently located for communities in the Eugene-Springfield area. Our accounting team is seeking applicants for the position Accounts Payable Specialist. A successful candidate will have experience with the Job Duties listed below and fulfill the list of Qualifications required for employment consideration. Job Duties Process and verify invoices, expense reports and purchase orders using accounting software. Communicate with Purchasing Department staff when reconciling shipping documentation with invoices. Ensure all payments are accurate and processed within scheduled deadlines. Maintain journal records. Process daily accounting team reports and assist with month-end activities. Maintain detailed records of transactions, compliant with GAAP and SOC requirements. Assist vendors, suppliers and internal departments to resolve billing questions. Assist with audits, providing documentation as needed. Reconcile collect freight charges and update delivered cost records. Maintain cloud based documents for internal purchasing cost control records. Data entry as required to update vendor or inventory information. Office phone support during times of increased call volume. Job Qualifications Experience with Full Cycle bookkeeping. Strong math skills and accounting systems proficiency. Strong analysis skills for account reconciliations and financial reporting. Professional communication skills to collaborate across departments and with vendors. Proficiency with ERP accounting software. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; relevant experience will be considered. Proven experience in accounts payable processing within a corporate or public accounting environment. Strong understanding of
GAAP, SOC
compliance. Experience with ERP purchasing cost management systems is beneficial. Proficient with cloud based collaborative documents. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Office applications. Knowledge of Payroll management systems like Pay.com or ADP is desirable. Excellent data entry skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
