Job Description

OVERVIEW
Maintains data and payments to accounts payable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare, verify, and process vendor invoices for multiple entities in accounting system on a timely basis Promptly communicate, follow-up and resolve open issues with functional area purchasing Resolve payment disputes Maintain accurate filing systems Maintain new customer setup Process payments/checks Support month end process, including account reconciliations Continuously improve upon the existing process Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree preferred - Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience; or • Four years related experience and/or training; or • Equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills and Knowledge Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel); Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains experience a plus High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills for interfacing with associates and suppliers Exceptional planning, time management and organizational abilities Team player with aptitude to grow with the organization Supervisory Responsibilities • None
