Accounts Receivable Clerk

Diversified Agriculture is an importer and distributor of agricultural equipment located in Eatontown, NJ. We are looking for an entry-level accounts receivable clerk to help our company maintain great customer service. The candidate should have a solid understanding of A/R fundamentals and some experience with data entry. This person must be a team player as they will be a key part of our customer service team. Accounts Receivable Clerk:

1. Entering accounts receivable invoices 2. Verifying shipment information and customer pricing 3. Reconciling freight-out expenses 4. Posting inter-company transactions 5. Entering warehouse transfers 6. Posting cash receipts to customer accounts 7. Reconcile payments to outstanding invoices 8. Notify customers regarding outstanding balances 9. Assist with customer service phone calls daily 10. Provide general office backup if needed What You'll Gain in

This Role:

Exposure to the full accounts receivable cycle — invoicing, cash application, and customer account reconciliation Hands-on experience with Sage 100

ERP Required:

• Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field — OR — equivalent hands-on A/R or A/P experience
• Understanding of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, and basic GAAP concepts)
• Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Accounts receivable or accounts payable experience
• Data entry experience
• Experience with ERP/MRP software, especially Sage 100

Pay:

$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
