Job Description

Job Overview The Peter L. Brown Co. is a residential remodeling company located in Granby, CT. We have been serving homeowners since 1960 and are looking to add a dependable, organized, and friendly person to our small office team. This position is often the first point of contact for customers, so strong communication and customer service skills are important. The right person should be comfortable answering phones, scheduling leads, handling service requests, maintaining accounts receivable, and helping keep the office running smoothly. This is a full-time, in-office position in a small office environment. We are looking for someone who is proactive, easy to work with, able to multitask, and comfortable jumping between customer calls, scheduling, and basic office/accounting tasks. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Answer incoming phone calls and direct customers appropriately Make outbound calls to customers, leads and service contacts Schedule new leads, estimates, and service requests Take detailed notes from customers and enter information accurately Maintain accounts receivable records Assist with basic billing, invoices, and payment tracking Communicate with crews, customers, and office staff regarding schedules and service issues Help organize paperwork, job files, and customer information Provide general administrative support as needed Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable answering phones and speaking with customers Basic math skills required Organized and detail-oriented Able to multitask in a busy office setting Proactive and willing to take initiative Dependable, professional, and easygoing Basic computer skills required Prior office, scheduling, customer service, or accounts receivable experience preferred Experience in construction, remodeling, or home services is helpful but not required Schedule Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Full-time position About Us The Peter L. Brown Co. is a long-standing residential remodeling company based in Granby, CT. Since 1960, we have helped homeowners with exterior remodeling projects including roofing, siding, windows, and doors. Pay:
