Accounts Receivable Rep/ Medical Office Admin (PART TIME) 860 1st Ave, King of Prussia, PA 19406 $19

- Part-time Company Overview King of Prussia Medicine is a dedicated internal medicine practice committed to providing comprehensive healthcare services.
Responsibilities Insurance Verification:
Verify and document patient eligibility and benefits with commercial insurance carriers Obtain and confirm claim information, including insurance carrier details, claim numbers, and adjuster contacts Identify patient financial responsibility, including deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance Obtain and track prior authorizations Maintain accurate and complete insurance records within the practice management systemMedical Billing and Revenue Cycle Support:
Monitor and follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely reimbursement Communicate professionally with insurance carriers, adjusters, and patients regarding claim status Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and denials Support overall revenue cycle management functions as needed Experience Proven experience in medical billing, claims, or related administrative roles within healthcare settings. Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-10 coding standards, and revenue cycle management processes. Strong knowledge of accounting concepts such as debits & credits, account reconciliation, deductibles, and financial analysis. Experience working with commercial insurance carriers and Medicare. Thorough understanding of the medical billing and insurance verification processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively within a professional environment. Understanding of Navinet, Pear, Availity and Evicore. Explaining complex EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) to patients in plain English as needed.Credentialing:
Assisting in the maintenance of provider credentials with various insurance networks.Pay:
$19.00- $23.
