Description We are a staffing firm partnering with a well-established organization in the Cincinnati, OH area to identify an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This position is starting on a contract basis with the plan to convert to permanent based on performance. This role will handle day-to-day accounts receivable activities, including billing, cash application, and collections. The ideal candidate will bring a customer-focused mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure timely and accurate receivables. Responsibilities Prepare and send out customer invoices Apply and post customer payments including ACH, wire, checks, and credit cards Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue balances Communicate with customers to resolve billing questions and payment issues Research and resolve discrepancies, short payments, and account disputes Assist with reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred At least 2 years of accounts receivable experience Solid understanding of invoicing, payments, and collections processes Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Professional, customer-focused approach to collections
Pay Details:
