CONTRACT TO HIRE POSITION
Title:
Accounts Receiveable/Deductions Analyst Location:
Burlington, MA (4 days a week in office, Monday through Thursday) Accounts Receivable Analyst who focuses on deductions to investigate and resolve customer payment discrepancies, analyzing deductions for validity, and working to recover unauthorized amounts. You will coordinate with internal teams like sales and logistics, communicate with customers, process credit memos for valid deductions, and identify trends to prevent future issues. What You'll Accomplish Analyze and resolve deductions: Investigate the root causes of customer deductions, such as pricing discrepancies, shortages, or promotional allowances.
Reconcile accounts:
Ensure customer accounts are accurate by processing deductions, issuing credit memos for valid claims, and recovering invalid ones.
Communicate and collaborate:
Work with internal departments (sales, logistics, customer service) and external customers to gather information and resolve disputes.
Process transactions:
Handle the administrative aspects of deductions, including preparing documentation and performing data entry.
Identify trends and improve processes:
Analyze deduction data to identify patterns and trends, and recommend process improvements to minimize future issues and reduce financial exposure. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience 3+ years in deductions, collections, accounting, or financial operations Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
