For the 2026 season, Cambridge Botanica will be joining forces with The Bramble and Beech, another small female-owned gardening business local to Boston. Together, we are seeking an experienced and reliable candidate who will join us in our goals of creating environments conducive to growth at every level-- professional, personal, ecological, global. Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Crew Member to join our team. In this role, you will assist in various landscaping projects and contribute to the maintenance of our clients' outdoor spaces. Your work will play a vital role in bringing our designs to life and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Assist in the installation of gardens, including planting and hardscaping elements. Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks such as mulching, pruning, weeding and planting. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks. Follow direction from crew leader and managers Help maintain properties by ensuring cleanliness and organization of work areas. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards. Help promote a positive energy on job sites Maintain professional communication with clients and peers Ensure and oversee a high level of detail Maintain a clean and orderly job site including the office yard and company vehicle, tools should be collected, clean and organized at the end of the day Client relations and time management skills Tracking time, materials and assisting in recording in QuickBooks. Requirements Previous experience in landscaping (willing to train the right person) Familiarity with hardscape installation techniques is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools and power equipment safely. Strong work ethic with attention to detail and quality. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial but not required. Plan, coordinate, and collect equipment and job materials each day. Rent Uhaul trucks to pick up and deliver plant material, tools and supplies. Willingness to work in inclement weather conditions.
