Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as an Activities and Events Associate . In this role, you will play a pivotal part in creating memorable experiences for our luxury RV resort guests by planning, coordinating, and managing a diverse range of resort activities and events. From children's programming and adult activities to movie nights and seasonal events, you will be instrumental in fostering a vibrant and engaging atmosphere within the resort.
Job Requirements:
Strategically plan, coordinate, oversee, and manage a diverse array of resort activities and events, including children's and adult programming, both free and paid, as well as movie nights Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive resort activities calendar Lead and assist with setup and cleanup for all activities and events Establish and maintain a tracking system to monitor attendance, vendor participation, revenue, and expenses for each activity Assist in ensuring timely payment of invoices and accurate documentation of all financial transactions Actively participate in training and supporting team members and volunteers within the Activities and Events department Support the development of seasonal event calendars while adhering to budget guidelines Prepare and distribute newsletters to guests and residents featuring upcoming activities and events Collaborate in the planning and execution of fundraising or community support initiatives Manage and maintain inventory of activity supplies and ensure proper organization Ensure proper care, maintenance, and readiness of equipment and supplies Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the Activities and Events department
Qualifications:
Proven experience in event planning, coordination, or hospitality programming Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to track budgets, expenses, and revenue related to programming Team-oriented with leadership qualities and a proactive mindset Passion for creating engaging, guest-focused experiences in a resort environment If you are passionate about creating engaging experiences and contributing to a vibrant, luxury RV resort atmosphere, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
