• Part-time Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic, fun and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team and bring vibrant, engaging experiences to our residents.

Responsibilities Develop and implement diverse activity programs that promote socialization, mental stimulation, and physical well-being for residents. Coordinate special events, outings, and recreational therapies that align with residents' interests and abilities. Assist residents with daily activities (ADLs), including mobility, dressing, and personal care when needed. Collaborate with care teams to identify individual preferences and develop personalized activity plans. Manage activity schedules efficiently to ensure timely delivery of programs and events. Foster an engaging atmosphere by encouraging participation and building strong relationships with residents. Maintain accurate documentation of activities, attendance records, and resident feedback to monitor engagement levels. Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or long-term care settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and senior care best practices. Strong skills in event planning, recreational therapy, and working with individuals with disabilities or aging issues. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members. Ability to assist residents with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and manage schedules efficiently. Experience in home & community care or social work is a plus. Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve residents' quality of life through engaging activities.
