  • Full-time Grace Village Retirement & Healthcare Facility is seeking a compassionate and organized Activities Director to lead engaging life‑enrichment programs for residents in our healthcare and assisted living communities.
This role plays a key part in enhancing residents' quality of life through meaningful activities that support physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual well‑being.
Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs Develop individual and group activities tailored to resident abilities and interests Coordinate special events, outings, and seasonal programs Collaborate with nursing, therapy, social services, dietary, and pastoral care teams Complete required documentation, assessments, and care plan input Supervise, train, and schedule activities staff and volunteers Manage activity supplies, equipment, and department budget Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Foster a positive, engaging, and respectful environment for residents
Qualifications:
Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Activities Management, or related field preferred but not required Minimum of 2 years' experience in activities programming within healthcare, assisted living, or long‑term care Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to resident activities Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Passion for working with older adults CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain) Valid driver's license
