Job Description
OVERVIEW
Great Escapes RV Resorts is a growing company specializing in acquisition, development, and management of RV Resorts throughout the United States. Our leaders serve a diverse sector of the RV resort / hospitality industry. We are seeking individuals who possess the skills and interest to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team. The Activities Lead is responsible for bringing the FUN to our campgrounds! This is accomplished by leading and participating in activity programs, supervising, and assisting guests with crafts and games, overseeing our inflatables at the lake, and ensuring that the recreational facilities and equipment are clean and safe for use. This is a seasonal role and reports to the Assistant General Manager.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Create weekly activity schedules. And get supplies needed to Assistant General Manager. Create weekly staff schedules based on activity needs. Create and help fulfill paid individual character experiences for our guests. Prepare and lead guest activities and arts & crafts. Perform all branded experiences consistently. Provide and maintain a fun, always engaging environment with all scheduled activities and promote hands-on learning through daily activities. Interact with guests in an upbeat, fun, and energetic manner always. When not on break, act as though you are always interacting with guests. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment during the organization, coordination, and execution of branded experiences Complete cash, credit, and gift card transactions using the point-of-sale system accurately while following proper cash-handling procedures. Take turns dressing in the character costumes and escorting co-workers while they are in costume. Decorate the park to the theme of the week/weekend. Keep recreation facilities neat, clean, and in working order (including restroom area). Job Descriptions are subject to change at any time.REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Basic computer skills Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through both verbal and written venues Current certifications in First Aid/CPR and AED or willingness to obtain upon hire Possess excellent organization skills, as well as the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously. Basic math skills, additions, subtraction, multiply and divide, calculate percentages, discounts, and count money Possess exceptional guest relations skills Weekend & holiday hours are requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical requirements include bending, standing, lifting, stooping, sitting, walking, stretching, and ability to lift/carry up to 15 pounds. Employee is exposed to outdoor weather conditions (hot and humid, rainy, extreme temperatures, airborne particles). Constant use of hands and arms to input data into the computer.
