Activities Program Associate

We are looking for someone to join our Activities Department who enjoys engaging with seniors, is willing to learn, be creative, positive and joyful. • Excellent communication skills
• Experience in event planning, assisted living, nursing home, Alzheimer's care, memory care, senior care, recreational therapy, dementia care, and caregiving is a plus
• Ability to engage with our senior population
• Strong customer service skills Responsibilities
• With guidance from the Director, plan and organize recreational activities for residents
• Provide support and assistance to seniors with group and individual activities
• Utilize communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members
• Coordinate and execute events tailored to the needs and interests of the senior population
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of residents when engaging them in activities
• Offer customer service and support to individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, and memory care needs
• Manage schedules to optimize residents' participation in various activities
