Activity Assistant Memory Care Assisted Living-Part time

Activities Assistant/Life Enrichment Associate- Part time Aldersbridge Communities is looking for an Activity Assistant/Life Enrichment Associate to join our team at The Loft at Linn Memory Care Assisted Living. This position is 15.5 hours a week. We are located in East Providence, RI. Working on the Memory Care Program will foster your commitment to enriching the lives of our residents.

Duties:

Assist the Memory Care Assisted Living Program Director with the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the activities specific to the Memory Care Program. Assist with planning and perform regularly scheduled activities and/or life skills activities. Responsible for leading and implementing one-on-one, small group and large group activities according to the programming schedule. Supports, encourages, and directs independent activity pursuits, both individually and in small groups. Experience Has worked with senior citizens in nursing home or institutional setting. Has worked one to one with senior citizens. Has been a volunteer working with senior citizens. $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.5 per week

Schedule:

4 hour shift-every Wednesday and every Friday (4PM-8PM) 8-hour shift-every other weekend (8AM-4PM)
