Responsibilities Perform acupuncture treatments tailored to individual patient needs, focusing on acute pain management and overall wellness Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to develop effective treatment plans Utilize trigger point therapy techniques to target muscle knots and alleviate pain Apply aseptic techniques diligently to ensure safe and hygienic treatment environments Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-care practices to support ongoing health management Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and medical terminology in compliance with healthcare standards Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and ensure integrated treatment strategies Qualifications Proven experience in acupuncture practice with a focus on pain management and trigger point therapy Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture treatments Skilled in patient service, including effective communication, empathy, and attentive patient care Knowledge of physical examinations and patient assessment techniques to inform treatment plans Familiarity with aseptic techniques to uphold safety standards during procedures Ability to educate patients about their health conditions and treatment processes clearly and professionally Certification or licensing as required by local health authorities for acupuncture practice Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly contribute to improving patients' quality of life.
