Up to $250/month MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and professional ADC Donation Attendant to join our Fairview Heights ADC team! Qualifications The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management. Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population. Must possess necessary math and computer and website navigation skills. Complex reasoning and decision-making skills are critical. Primary Duties/Responsibilities Provides positive customer service interactions, including greetings, assisting donors with their donation drop off, and offering thanks and any donation incentive and tax receipt. Handles all donations with care and respect. Sorts donated goods into categories such as furniture, glass, jewelry, shoes, textiles, wares, books and media, cardboard, and trash. Opens and closes the Attended Donation Site. Accurately counts and reports donation counts. Notifies management of hazardous, valuable, or inappropriate merchandise/materials being donated. Utilizes safe work practices through awareness and observation and contributes to ensuring the workplace is hazard-free by removing obstructions and keeping aisles and designated walkways debris-free. Ensures the workplace is hazard-free by removing obstructions and keeping aisles and designated walkways debris-free and maintains the cleanliness of the entire ADC area efficiently and to standard. Maintains a professional appearance always, adhering to MERS/Goodwill's dress code. Safeguards company property and personal information from harm, damage, or theft. Reports any theft, misappropriation, unethical/inappropriate behavior, or unauthorized possession of company property to a member of management, Human Resources, or Loss Prevention. Must adhere to all MERS/Goodwill policies, Goodwill Retail procedures, and safety and security regulations. Creates requests for merchandise pickup to the transportation department. All other duties as assigned. Benefits Individual and family medical benefits for full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week.
