Job Description
Adjunct Faculty - Interior Architecture & Design The Design Division at La Roche University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Professor in Interior Architecture & Design for the Fall 2026 semester. This is a part-time, in-person teaching opportunity within a collaborative and student-centered design program committed to creativity, innovation, and experiential learning. We are seeking dynamic professionals who are passionate about design education and mentoring emerging designers. Teaching assignments may include courses in Foundations of Design and/or Interior Architecture & Design Studios. Adjunct appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis, based on departmental needs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction to undergraduate students in the Interior Architecture & Design program Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds and varying skill levels Guide and evaluate student progress through meaningful feedback and assessment Maintain effective communication and responsiveness to student needs Follow established academic policies and teaching procedures within the Design Division Participate in adjunct faculty meetings and contribute positively to the academic communityEducation & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of professional industry experience Prior collegiate teaching experience, leadership, or mentorship experience preferred Ability to effectively utilize online learning platforms and digital presentation tools Daytime teaching availability is highly desirableApplication Materials:
