Description Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) seeks to develop applicant pools for adjunct faculty to teach course offerings throughout the 2025-2026 academic year . WWCC offers opportunities for adjunct faculty to teach courses at all of our campuses: Walla Walla, Clarkston, Washington State Penitentiary, Coyote Ridge Corrections Center, as well as online/remotely. Part-time/temporary adjunct faculty positions offer flexible hours and the opportunity to assist a diverse group of adult students in achieving their educational goals. WWCC offers a wide range of opportunities in extended learning, dual-credit alternative high school, workplace learning, outreach learning, and personal enrichment programs. WWCC accepts applications for adjunct faculty positions on a continuous basis, though it does not necessarily imply that there are immediate openings. Applicants who meet the required minimum qualifications and submit a complete application with all required components will become part of the standing pool which the College will draw on as scheduling needs dictate. Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit materials at any time. Candidates who are qualified to teach multiple disciplines are encouraged to apply to each discipline's adjunct pool postings to ensure their application is considered. Applications will be reviewed months prior to the start of each quarter. 2026-2026 Quarter Dates Fall 2025:September 22

Medic First Aid Basic is a fundamental training program in emergency care that incorporates CPR and other emergency skills into a single course. The course emphasizes the priorities of care and approach to the patient as demonstrated by professional emergency care providers. The core program provides minimum information and skills for a variety of environments and can be supplemental with additional first aid topics specific to the needs of the class participants. The course is available on-campus, as well as on a contract basis throughout Walla Walla and Columbia counties.Offered:
Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring quartersGeneral Responsibilities:
Assess scene safety Demonstrate barrier protection. Assess major components of primary care. Describe, demonstrate, and practice airway assessment, obstructive airway, breathing, and circulation. Demonstrate control of bleeding and shock management. Focus on injury and illness assessment. Competencies CPR/Airway management Control of bleeding/shock Scene management/safetyInjury Assessment Components of Primary Care Required Qualifications :
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered at the discretion of the college. For remote work, applicants must reside in either WA, OR, ID, CA, IL, PA, or TX. Hold a current American Heart Association Instructor CPR Card Preferred Qualifications A minimum of one year of experience within the past three years.
