Administrative and Accounting Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial record-keeping. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of financial data and assisting with various accounting tasks. Duties Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors. Maintain accurate records using financial software such as QuickBooks and Google Sheets Prepare financial reports and assist in month-end closing activities. Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Respond to inquiries from internal departments regarding financial transactions. Experience Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is required Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
