Job Description

Small family-owned business serving Santa Cruz County and the greater Bay Area, since 1991! Operations primarily focus on the retail sales of specialty lumber, salvaged/reclaimed wood products, and custom milled wood products for homeowners, designers, builders and craftsmen. Our business is growing rapidly and we are seeking a long-term employee with a "can do" attitude. You will be working closely with business executives, warehouse staff, and clientele. Must be team player, yet able to work independently, with a strong ability to multi-task. Casual work environment 40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts with 1 hour lunch. DUTIES INCLUDE
Answer phones and assist clientele with inquiries for milling and lumber Manage emails from customers, vendors, and co-workers Schedule appointments for the showrooms and customer will-call orders Generate quotes, sales orders, purchase orders, invoices, mill tags Process reports and maintain inventory database in Excel and WordPress Scan, send, and file documents Maintain product Chain of Custody for FSC Certification Prepare inputs/outputs for annuals FSC Certification Audit Maintain sample wood library and showroom organization Assist with managing company calendar/logistics Manage company website through strong knowledge of WordPress Create and maintain photo library of products for use in print and web Manage and grow social media accounts Project management for trade shows, A&D presentations and sales events OSHA Safety Knowledge(plus, but not required)
