Job Description:
We are looking to employ a qualified Infant/Toddler Teacher, who has a passion for instilling values in young children in our Early Head Start program. The Infant/Toddler Teacher should possess high energy and the ability to handle the demands of babies and toddlers with different personalities and needs. As a minimum requirement, the applicant to be a teacher must have a current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or comparable credential and have been trained or have equivalent coursework in early childhood development with a focus on infant and toddler development. Applicant must meet state licensing requirements. Must complete all trainings required by child care licensing, including but not limited to the following: a.
Ongoing Training:
Staff must participate in annual training on child safety, mandated reporting, and emergency procedures (Title 22, §101216.2). b.
Mandated Reporting:
All employees are mandated reporters of suspected child abuse or neglect (Title 22, §101212(d))
PAY RATE
Depending on

  • $26.50 hourly BA in ECE
