Behind that mission is a team that depends on strong, reliable administrative leadership. The Administrative Assistant 5 serves as a key force in keeping that mission moving. This senior-level role provides high-level administrative support to division leadership, managing complex office operations with independence, professionalism, and exceptional organizational skill. As the primary administrative resource for the division, the incumbent ensures smooth communication, accurate documentation, and seamless coordination across programs, staff, and stakeholders. Four years of experience in administrative services.EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION

Handle sensitive and confidential correspondence and calls, determining appropriate actions. Provide administrative support, including file management, printing, duplicating, and recordkeeping. Compile records and reports for the ACA Coordinator. Coordinate escorted leave, furloughs, and court appearances with main control. Serve as liaison between employees and Human Resources. Assist with new hire packets and applicant screening. Create requisitions and manage procurement processes from request to delivery. Reconcile LaCarte and petty cash transactions per policy. Manage the sale and logging of staff meal tickets. Collect and process timesheets in the LA Gov HCM system. Create prior period adjustments and audit payroll records. Train and guide timekeepers and employees on timesheet systems (CATS, eCertification, LEO, manual entry). Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or administration.Position-Specific Details:
