Job Description

Job Overview We are a family owned local business with over 50 year history in Lindenhurst, NY. We are currently seeking an Administrative/Office Assistant to join our team. The position requires a detail oriented individual with experience in data entry, as well as provide additional administrative support in a busy environment. We are looking for a self-motivated, team player who is able to work well independently and as a team. Please forward your resume for immediate consideration. Office Assistant Requirements:
Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook. Digital photo editing a plus. Excellent Written and Verbal Communication. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
Job Type:
Full-time Normal business hours Monday through Friday. Responsibilities Duties including greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone systems, and directing calls with professional phone etiquette. Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office Organize files, documents, and correspondence through effective filing systems both physically and digitally. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients, vendors, and team members with inquiries and support needs. Assist with clerical tasks such as proofreading documents, managing office supplies inventory, and coordinating office management activities. Support bookkeeping activities as needed including invoicing, purchase orders, etc. Skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with a focus on clerical support. Exceptional communication skills Familiarity with multi-line phone systems, data entry processes, and filing systems. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail through proofreading and data entry accuracy.
