We design in the USA and manufacture worldwide, partnering closely with leading retailers to bring relevant, well-crafted products to the mass market. Our capabilities span design, manufacturing, quality assurance, packaging, and supply chain management—allowing us to deliver the ideal combination of value, craftsmanship, and design. The Administrative Assistant role supports our Sales Managers and plays an active role in the development of new products, helping bring ideas from concept through presentation and in-store launch. Position Overview The Administrative Assistant supports Sales Managers across all Basketville product lines, playing a key role in the preparation, coordination, and follow-up of sales initiatives. This role is integral to how ideas move from concept to market, helping ensure that product development, sales planning, and cross-functional collaboration stay organized and on track. By supporting Sales Managers and contributing to the development of new products, the Administrative Assistant helps shape the products our retail partners ultimately bring to market. As Basketville continues to grow and expand, this role offers meaningful opportunities for increased responsibility and professional development. Provide administrative support to Sales Managers, including the creation and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and other ad hoc materials Prepare, publish, and organize sales proposals and presentations under the guidance of Sales Managers Take a lead role in tracking follow-ups from sales meetings and supporting action plans Collaborate closely with multiple Sales Managers to understand priorities and workflows Serve as a liaison between Sales Managers and Sourcing Specialists based in Asia Occasionally pack, organize, and ship product samples to customers and internal teams, ensuring accurate labeling and timely delivery Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, informal, team-oriented environment where priorities evolve quickly and quality standards are high Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-through skills Strong prioritization and basic project management capabilities Advanced accuracy and efficiency in Excel, with the ability to quickly assemble error-free spreadsheets Clear and effective communication skills, including the ability to work with colleagues for whom English is a second language A creative, solution-oriented mindset with an interest in improving processes and workflows Flexibility and adaptability when managing changing demands, timelines, and priorities Interest in or exposure to design, product development, retail operations, or home décor is a plus
