Job Description
Administrative Assistant Main Building-Springfield, OH Part-Time (Up to 30 hours per week) 1st shift, may requires some flexibility in hours MHS is currently seeking a PT (30 hours per week) Administrative Assistant. This position works our main building, located at 474 N. Yellow Springs St. in Springfield The Administrative Assistant is responsible for answering phones, greeting clients, entering information, processing payments and general customer service. Administrative Assistants with MHS support our outpatient clinics for both behavioral health and primary care teams. Prior experience working with mental/behavioral health clients or addiction clients preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems required. This is a fast paced office serving both Clark and Madison County clients, based out of our Behavioral Health (BHR) offices. This position may require you to drive in the community in both Clark and Madison counties, utilizing your own vehicle (reimbursement available for mileage and vehicle use). You must meet MHS insurance requirements to be considered for the position.
Candidates must have:
High school diploma or equivalent 1 year of experience in mental or behavioral health office setting preferred Certification as a Medical Assistant beneficial but not required. Ohio Drivers license and state required minimum auto insurance coverage (Primary Care Administrative Assistant) MHS provides CPR/First Aid and NVCI (CPI Blue) for all new staff, along with on-going education and on-the-job training opportunities. All MHS candidates are required to have an Ohio BCI check (FBI check required if you have lived in Ohio for less than 5 years, or for working with children) and a 5-panel drug screen upon conditional offer of employment.
