In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing essential administrative and clinical support functions. Your energetic approach and excellent organizational skills will help streamline daily operations, facilitate accurate documentation, and uphold the highest standards of patient service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a compassionate healthcare setting where efficiency and patient care are prioritized. Extremely punctual and reliable with time management efficiency is required. Monday - Friday, no weekends. Salary commensurate with experience. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service and guiding them through check-in and check-out processes Manage appointment scheduling using AdvancedMD and Google spreadsheet Handle massive email traffic with efficiency Familiar with CPT and ICD-10 coding Maintain accurate medical records by reviewing documentation for completeness and compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing patient files to include all necessary reports Operate multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette while managing appointment reminders and patient inquiries Requirements Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment with strong clerical skills highly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10 & CPT code Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and data entry with 10-key typing ability Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security Bilingual (Spanish) abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and office management tasks Prior Personal Injury clinic office experience is advantageous for understanding specific workflows and terminology Outstanding customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and a friendly demeanor, ability to handle difficult situations Join our team where your proactive attitude will make a meaningful difference in patient experiences!
