Full-time Job Description:

Perform follow up with personal injury claims through aging reports. Preparing and submitting billing data and medical claims to Attorney's offices. Identify trends, and carrier issues relating to billing and reimbursements Answer/respond to correspondence related to patient accounts Process refund requests Process billing calls and questions from attorneys. Negotiating for a reasonable payment plan, when patients are unable to pay their financial responsibility.. Settling financial discrepancies and monitoring missed payments Involving collection agencies when patients refuse to pay. Process credit card payments Report findings to Team Lead and/or

Supervisor Requirements:

Minimum of two years of Medical Collector experience. Previous experience in a medical office setting. knowledge of insurance guidelines. Experience in generating CMS1500 Understanding of medical terminology and insurance laws/guidelines Excellent organization and time management skills along with excellent oral and written communication skills Strong team player Ability to learn quickly Work with minimal supervision Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills required. Good endurance skill, which involves the ability to work efficiently and productively in a high-pressure environment Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Computer literacy skills
