The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks for multiple office personnel. We would prefer someone with medical experience. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations within our clinic and enhancing the patient experience. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills and increase this entry level position. We are willing to be flexible with your schedule to meeting both of our needs. We have a great reputation and have been locally owned and operated since 2001. Duties Greet and assist patients as they arrive at the clinic or answer the phone, answer questions regarding insurance, ensuring a welcoming environment. Manage medical scheduling, including booking appointments and confirming patient insurance and demographics. Handle collections and process payments efficiently, recoding and applying. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, insurance and patient needs. Collaborate with medical staff or providers to facilitate seamless patient service and communication. Ensure compliance with all clinic policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of patient information. Assist with medical billing processes as needed, ensuring accuracy with patient information therefore in claims submission. Supply medical records as requested by other providers, Attorneys or patients. Experience Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar front desk role is preferred but we are willing to train the right person. Familiarity with medical scheduling systems, billing processes, and electronic health records (EHR) is highly desirable but can train the right person. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Filling quiet times with meaningful tasks. Ability to handle a diverse patient population with kindness and accuracy.
