Join the Team at Kindred Treatment Center (KTC) Behavioral Health Intake Coordinator / Administrative Assistant At Kindred Treatment Center, we believe behavioral healthcare should feel connected, compassionate, and accessible — for both our clients and our team. We are currently seeking a highly organized, personable, and motivated Behavioral Health Intake Coordinator / Administrative Assistant to join our growing outpatient behavioral health practice. Why This Role Matters You will serve as one of the first points of contact for clients seeking services and play a vital role in creating a welcoming, organized, and supportive experience from intake through ongoing treatment. Attention to detail, compassion, professionalism, and initiative are essential in this role.
Duties Include:
Client Intake & Scheduling Serve as a first point of contact via phone, email, and web inquiries Assist with client check-in and help create a welcoming office experience Collect, verify, and enter demographic, insurance, and intake information into the EHR Coordinate intake appointments, follow-ups, and schedule changes for providers Maintain knowledge of KTC programming, services, and levels of care to appropriately guide clients and referral sources Manage referrals and maintain timely communication with providers and community partners Administrative & Office Support Support clinical, medical, and administrative teams with daily operations Prepare intake paperwork and client documentation to support seamless onboarding and continuity of care Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment Monitor office supplies and operational needs Support both telehealth and in-office workflows, including basic technical troubleshooting when needed Clinical Coordination Support Assist providers with administrative aspects of psychiatry and medication management Support outcome measures, screening tools, and documentation tracking Process labs and communicate relevant information to providers Ensure documentation remains accurate, timely, and compliant with organizational standards Compliance & Team Collaboration Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality Communicate professionally and collaboratively with clients, clinicians, and staff Participate in trainings, team meetings, and ongoing process improvements Assist with additional operational tasks as needed to support the programThe Ideal Candidate Has:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities The ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional in a fast-paced setting Experience in behavioral healthcare, intake/admissions, medical office administration, or customer service preferred Familiarity with EHR/software systems and insurance verification is a plus Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset A proactive, dependable attitude and desire to grow within a supportive team environment Why Join KTC?
