No Job Purpose:
The Marina Administrative Assistant role provides administrative support to the Marina functions as needed, including answering phones, record-keeping, file maintenance, Quickbooks entry, and customer service.
Job Duties:
Adheres to the Gasparilla Inn and Club's 4 Steps to Memorable Service. Exhibits the Gasparilla Inn and Club's Core Values. Greets all guests who come to the Marina office and assists guests in their Marina needs. Performs customer service functions by answering guest requests and questions both on the phone and in person. Directs any maintenance and boat issues for follows up and completion. Plan, schedule, and address guest requests for their boats. Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions. Files documents into appropriate files. Assists or prepares correspondence as requested. Processes mail. All other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions and Assignments:
This position is almost equal in office setting and in various settings on the property. The position requires long periods of sitting as well as bending, twisting, kneeling pushing, pulling, and a moderate degree of physical exertion while transporting equipment or guest items of which will be approximately 10 lbs. This position will need to be able to safely drive a golf cart and may have frequent exposure to outside weather conditions throughout the day. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
