Full Job Description Description:
We are an independent insurance agency seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Insurance Processor to support our Commercial Lines team. This role is responsible for processing insurance documents accurately and efficiently, maintaining client records, and providing administrative support to Account Managers and other team members. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to work both collaboratively and independently to resolve issues and support agency operations.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming client calls and assist with service requests Maintain and update client and policy information within the agency management system Verify policy and account information for accuracy Process policy changes, endorsements, and other maintenance requests Assist with billing functions and coordinate with the accounting team as needed Process incoming and outgoing mail Scan, upload, and organize documents in agency systems Maintain accurate activity notes and suspense logs Utilize agency management and integrated software systems effectively Create, update, and maintain Excel spreadsheets and reports Support Account Managers and other team members with administrative and operational tasks Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to obtain a Property & Casualty Insurance License within 90 days of employment Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement Problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new systems and processes
