Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
Accountable to the CEO, the Executive Director is responsible for development and implementation of long and short-range goals, objectives, and tactics consistent with the strategic plan. The Executive Director is responsible for overall leadership functions of the service line to continually improve the quality and efficiency of the service line, transform the service line culture, and ensure programmatic growth while meeting the goals of the healthcare system. The Executive Director provides analysis of the system service line financials, operational benchmarks, and programmtaic initiatiatives and develops and leads the strategic planning process to achieve desired results. Responsible for the development of strong physician, staff, and leadership relationships to ensure efficient and effective communication to maintain system operations promoting system collaboration and service line growth. Reviews and adheres to all State, Federal and local laws as well as Regulatory Standards as they relate to the ethical and legal compliance procedures. Responsibilities include leadership functions of the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
: Master's Degree in Nursing, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration or equivalent experience required. 5-10 years progressive healthcare leadership in a relevant scope Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and ability to work collaboratively Knowledgeable on operational and executive issues. Ability to understand how healthcare processes are inter-connected. Experience in Project Management and successful implementation within goals of organization. Knowledgeable and experienced in HIS systems and applicable applications. Advanced level of proficiency with MS Outlook, WORD, PowerPoint, and Excel required. EPIC and SharePoint experience is preferred. Knowledge of fiscal management and human resource management practices. Ability and skill in leadership, planning, organizing and supervision of staff. Strong business acumen related to development of outpatient services.
