Job Title:

Director, d Services Job Summary/Overview The Director of d Services is responsible for leading the organization's North American shared services functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements while driving operational excellence, process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across shared services operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee shared services functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management, expense administration, and vendor management. Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, regulatory requirements, company policies, and internal control standards. Direct the preparation of accurate and timely management reports and audit support documentation. Drive operational excellence through process standardization, automation, continuous improvement, and ERP optimization initiatives. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and operational metrics to enhance efficiency and service delivery. Partner with business leaders to support strategic initiatives, financial planning, organizational growth, and business transformation efforts. Build, lead, and develop high-performing accounting and shared services teams, fostering a culture of accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement. Manage departmental budgets, workforce planning, risk management activities, and organizational change initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities Maintains a collaborative, team environment with direct reports, peers, and colleagues. Demonstrates strong ownership and accountability to deliver a quality and timely work product. Demonstrates determination, courage and commitment with a positive attitude. Sets work plans and considers priorities for completing assignments to meet deadlines. Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Deep understanding of shared services operating models and best practices. Proven ability to lead large teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and executive presentation abilities. Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems. Experience managing audits, internal controls, and compliance programs. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Finance, Accounting or related field. 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience. 5+ years of leadership experience managing shared service teams which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management, expense administration, and vendor management. Experience in a multi-entity, multi-location, or complex organizational environment. Demonstrated success leading process improvement and transformation initiatives. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms. 30%+ travel across CMCO's U.S. footprint.
