Job Description

SUMMARY:
The Business Services Coordinator supports the financial and operational functions of the Intermediate Unit by coordinating and assisting with business services, financial management, procurement, and compliance tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring the effective and efficient use of resources in alignment with IU goals, policies, and state/federal regulations. This exempt position provides support to the Director of Management Services, Executive Director other IU Business Office staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in budget development, monitoring, and reporting for IU programs and services. Assist in preparing E-Grants applications. Manage contract and service agreement documents and coordinate updates to these documents when necessary. Provide support and data conversion assistance as needed. Provide contracted consulting services in member school districts and for other clients as needs arise. Assist the Director of Management Services and Executive Director with special projects that require additional support. May assist in day-to-day business operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, and payroll processing. Prepare financial reports, statements, and documentation for internal use, audits, and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and IU policies, particularly related to financial transactions and record-keeping. Support procurement processes including bid preparation and contract administration. Maintain accurate financial records. Collaborate with Division Director's and Supervisors to provide financial information, training, and support as needed. Coordinate audit preparation and assist auditors with necessary documentation and inquiries. Assist with grant management, including budget tracking, financial reporting, and adherence to grant guidelines. Provide supervision or support as assigned for both internal and external services offered. Acts as a client support specialist to those the IU serves. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Management Services or Executive Director.

$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
