Job Description
Harvis, Inc. has partnered with Duryea Borough to help fill the role of Borough Manager. At Harvis, Inc. we work to support business owners, their managers, and Human Resource 'departments of one' giving them a trusted HR Partner. The Borough Manager is a hands-on municipal leadership position responsible for the day-to-day administration of Borough government and coordination of municipal operations. Manager Responsibilities Municipal administration with Council support Budgeting and financial oversight Personnel and department coordination Public Works and infrastructure coordination Code enforcement ordinances and municipal compliance Stormwater, flooding and hazard mitigation coordination Grant development and administration Capital projects and procurement Resident, business and intergovernmental relations Community and economic development Please submit a cover letter, résumé, and three professional references.

Experience and Skills:
Minimum/Preferred Qualifications Progressively responsible administrative or management experience (5 years preferred). Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered. Pennsylvania municipal experience, budgeting, grants, personnel administration, and capital-project experience are strongly preferred.
