Role Description The Administrative Director for the Office of the President is a full-time, on-site role based in San Diego, California with flexibility for partial work from home if ne. This role oversees and coordinates the daily operations of the Office of the President, including managing schedules, priorities, and communications to ensure efficient and effective executive support. The Administrative Director will prepare and review correspondence, presentations, briefing materials, and reports, and will coordinate board, leadership, and stakeholder meetings, including agendas, logistics, and follow-up actions. The role includes monitoring key initiatives, tracking deadlines, and ensuring alignment between the President's priorities and cross-functional projects across the organization. The individual will serve as a primary liaison between the President and internal and external stakeholders, maintain confidentiality on sensitive matters, and continuously improve office processes, documentation, and administrative systems. Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills to assess information, prioritize initiatives, support decision-making, and track executive-level projects and outcomes. Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, meeting facilitation, and preparation of executive-ready materials. Foundational knowledge in Finance, Budgeting, and Accounting to support financial planning for the Office of the President, manage operating budgets, and interpret financial reports. Demonstrated experience in executive administration, office management, or operations leadership supporting senior executives or boards. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and exercise sound judgment in a high-trust environment. Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Office or Google Workspace, virtual meeting platforms, and document management systems). Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
