Program. Responsibilities Support forPhase Leadership and Course Directors:
Serve as a contact and resource for Phase 2 Director, LIC Directors, Phase 2 Academic Half Day/Intersession Course Director, Assistant Dean, and Phase 2 Associate Director. Provide administrative and logistical support to ensure the smooth operation of Phase 2 courses. Facilitate communication about Phase 2 between faculty, staff, and students to ensure effective course delivery. Management of Phase 2 Academic Half Day Course & Phase 2Intersession Series:
Oversee the aspects of the Phase 2 Academic Half Day Course & Phase 2 Intersession courses: including planning, implementing, and improving the courses. Coordinate room scheduling for any in-person Phase 2 course sessions, ensuring that facilities are appropriately reserved and equipped. Address any scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption to the curriculum.Exam Management & Administration:
Assist in the administration of student exams for Phase 2 courses: this includes NBME shelf exams and OSCEs. Oversee the proctoring of final exams for all Phase 2 courses, ensuring adherence to exam policies and maintaining a fair testing environment. Coordinate any repeat assessments, as necessary. Address any issues or concerns that arise during the exam process, providing support as needed.Curriculum Meeting Management:
Organize and manage the EPPC Phase 2 Subcommittee meeting, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are invited and prepared. Take meeting minutes, track action items, and follow up on tasks as needed. Ensure that curriculum-related discussions are effectively documented and that decisions are clearly communicated to all involved parties. Manage voting during the meeting and e-votes as necessaryRoom Scheduling:
Coordinate room scheduling for all in-person Phase 2 sessions, ensuring that facilities are appropriately reserved and equipped for each session. Address any scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption to the curriculum.Curriculum Mapping and Data Maintenance:
Maintain and update the curriculum map for Phase 2 courses, ensuring that all relevant data (e.g., program objectives, course objectives, session objectives, and session modalities) is current and accurate. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related area plus three years of experience in budget, grant and program management or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. Develops and implements program ideas into successful academic and research programs; demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required. Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description. Preferences An incumbent who demonstrates exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Demonstration should be rendered with advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products, database management, spreadsheets and document storage, and retrieval systems.
