Administrative Support Manager Location:
Providence, RI, Pawtucket, RI, Central Falls, RI (please note: you may be placed at any of our sites that have openings or be expected to float to other sites)

Full-Time (Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts) Make an Impact Behind the Scenes That Powers Everything At Children's Friend, our mission-driven work depends on strong, seamless operations—and that starts with exceptional administrative leadership. We're looking for an Administrative Support Manager to lead and elevate our administrative support function across the agency. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on organization, loves building systems, and knows how to lead teams to deliver consistent, high-quality support across multiple locations.
What You'll Do:
As our Administrative Support Manager, you'll serve as the backbone of administrative operations—ensuring everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and consistently across sites.
You will:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of administrative professionals, including a Supervisor and site-based staff Standardize and improve administrative processes across all locations Oversee front desk operations to ensure a welcoming, professional experience for all visitors Manage office systems including supplies, inventory, and purchasing practices Monitor workflows and drive continuous improvement in efficiency and service delivery Partner with leadership and program teams to align administrative support with organizational needs Support hiring, onboarding, and training of administrative staff Ensure compliance with agency policies, confidentiality standards, and operational requirements Contribute to agency-wide initiatives and strategic goals
What You Bring:
We're looking for a collaborative, solutions-oriented leader who can balance big-picture strategy with day-to-day operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred 3-5+ years of progressive administrative experience, including supervisory or management experience Strong knowledge of office operations and workflow design Proven leadership and team management skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results across sites Bilingual Spanish required
