Job Description

Administrative Coordinator (Regular, Full-Time) People & Culture Reporting to the Vice President of People & Culture, the Administrative Coordinator provides high-level administrative and operational support and contributes to the overall effectiveness of the People & Culture department. This role serves as a key partner in coordinating department initiatives, managing communications, and ensuring smooth execution of priorities.
Responsibilities:
Supports strategic People & Culture initiatives and special projects led by the VP Manages the VP s calendar, including scheduling meetings, prioritizing requests, and resolving conflicts Maintains P&C department events schedule on the museum s event calendar and updates department calendar every month Prepares agendas, reports, and briefing materials for internal and external meetings Drafts and manages correspondence on behalf of the VP Coordinates department communications, including announcements and updates Tracks progress on strategic priorities and ensures timely follow-up on action items Compiles and formats reports, dashboards, and presentations Maintains tracking system for key metrics Updates and maintains the museum's organizational charts Prepares and sends exit paperwork to departing employees and coordinates related mailings Processes department invoices, expense reports, and travel request forms, and provides a monthly budget report to the VP Coordinates annual People & Culture team retreat Responds to inquiries and emails in a timely manner Handles confidential information with discretion and security Performs other related duties as assigned
Benefits:
The expected hourly range for this Los Angeles, CA-based position is $26.50- $28.85, subject to change, and the position is eligible for LACMA s comprehensive benefits package, including a pension plan. Qualifications:
A bachelor s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum 3 years of administrative experience supporting senior executives, preferably in a human resources or a nonprofit environment Highly proficient in Google Suite and HRIS systems
