California, Nor-Cal SEIU UHW-West & Joint Employer Education Fund The Education Fund is a non-profit partnership between six Locals of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and 22 Healthcare Industry employers, serving the education and training needs of 100,000 eligible workers. Our mission is to empower our diverse healthcare workforce to advance in a changing environment through innovative education and training solutions. Our program and budget have doubled in scale over the last five years to provide career advancement and continuing education services to 20,000 learners annually, and we are positioned for continued growth with new partners and funding.
Principal Purpose of Job:
Works in conjunction with supervisor and multiple teams across the organization to coordinate functions related to student and vendor data management, vendor contracts, and other administrative functions of the Education Fund. This role is central to the Education Fund's ability to make data-driven decisions, achieve its strategic goals, and ensure robust and transformative outcomes for its students and other stakeholders.
Level of Authority:
Works independently within the scope and direction of the Assistant Director of Quality and Compliance in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. Responsible for exercising good judgment, follow-through, excellent customer service, and management of priorities. This position does not supervise other staff.
Work Environment:
Most of the work is performed in a fast-paced office setting with frequent interruptions and with the need to deal with a diversity of people and tasks with an occasional need to work in a different office location.
Essential Job Functions:
Data management: Coordinate and maintain processes related to identifying, collecting, and entering accurate and timely student data into various systems about students supported by the organization's training and workforce development programming.
Data quality assurance:
Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data entered into various systems by conducting regular data quality checks and audits. Provide training and support to internal teams on developing and implementing standardized data validation processes.
Data reporting:
Provide basic analysis and support the development and updating of standard and ad hoc reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Student experience assurance:
Maintain and support the process for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on student feedback data. Contract administration : Coordinate the internal administration of an annual portfolio of 50+ vendor contracts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: vendor research and evaluation, proofreading agreement drafts, drafting language, liaise with internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders, maintain and update internal contracts archive and document templates, and documenting and updating best practices and internal processes.
Process improvement:
Recommend, develop, and implement strategies for process improvement and organizational efficiency
Other:
Assist with special projects as necessary Qualifications and Capabilities Bachelor's Degree and a Minimum of one to three years of comparable experience is required. Experience with Sigma, Google Data Studio, or other business intelligence systems is a strong plus. Certification is not required. Experience working in Salesforce or other CRM systems is a strong plus. Superior Excel skills are a must. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and workflows simultaneously within strict timelines/deadlines. Strong analytical mind, high attention to detail, and ability to work consistently at top level in a changing, dynamic environment. Strong critical thinking skills are required. Experience providing training or leading presentations is preferred. Experience working within the non-profit and/or workforce development environment is a plus. Experience with non-profit compliance and standards is strongly preferred. Knowledge of and experience working with higher education institutions and/or vocational training organizations is a plus.
