Job Description

Connect for Success Initiative Administrative Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing student-centered, equitable access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services at Red Rocks Community College. This part-time, grant-funded position supports the administration and implementation of a college-wide initiative through coordination of project logistics, stakeholder communications, student engagement activities, and data tracking. The coordinator works closely with campus departments, external partners, and students to build inclusive programming that reflects the needs and voices of the community. Key responsibilities include supporting grant deliverables, organizing meetings and outreach events, facilitating student advisory efforts, assisting in data collection and analysis, and managing communications related to SRH initiatives. Based in the Student Health Clinic, this position regularly welcomes and interacts with students, providing resources and access to direct support. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a passion for public health and equity, and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse groups. This position has been exempted from the State Classified System. This is a grant-funded , part-time up to 24 hours a week, FLSA non-exempt position with anticipated funding until December 2026. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to work from campus (primarily our Lakewood/Arvada campus with occasional hours at the Lakewood/Arvada campus). Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, gender, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data systems (e.g., Excel, survey tools). Ability to collect, interpret, and communicate data to varied audiences. Comfort in facilitating student engagement and managing outreach strategies. Understanding of or interest in sexual and reproductive health topics, equity frameworks, and public health models. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments. Demonstrated cultural humility and commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging principles. Required Qualifications Higher ed studies in Public Health, Education, Communications, Sociology, Gender Studies, or related field; or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. At least one year of professional experience in program coordination, or grant administration. Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse communities and supporting the success of individuals from racial, ethnic, and gender backgrounds that are underrepresented. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Higher Education, Nonprofit Management, or related discipline. Bilingual (Spanish preferred). Familiarity with student services in a community college setting. Prior experience with Sexual Reproductive Health programs, delivering health education, community outreach, or peer education. Physical & Cognitive Demands The following are some of the physical and cognitive demands commonly associated with this position. Occasionally moves, positions, and transports files and office materials weighing up to 10 lbs. This is largely a sedentary role. This position operates in an office environment and constantly uses a computer, and routinely uses standard office equipment including phones, copiers, etc. The person in this position constantly communicates with internal and external constituents and students. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Cognitive demands include comparing, copying, computing, compiling, analyzing, coordinating, synthesizing, negotiating, communicating, instructing, and interpersonal skills.
