The Manufacturing Coordinator is one of the first friendly faces our team members and visitors will meet. This role serves as an ambassador of our culture, setting the tone for professionalism, warmth, and service. This person supports the Plant Director and all leadership team members with administrative excellence, clear communication, and a spirit of helpfulness. In our greenfield environment, the Manufacturing Coordinator plays a critical role in shaping smooth operations—helping build the systems, habits, and human touchpoints that make our plant run with confidence and care. Primary Responsibilities Startup & Systems Readiness Support the creation and rollout of administrative and reporting systems for a new manufacturing site. Partner with supervisors and cross-functional teams to establish accurate employee rosters, attendance tracking, and workforce documentation. Assist with onboarding by entering new employee data into SAP/MES or other systems promptly and accurately. Help build repeatable administrative standards that grow with the plant. Onboarding & Employee Support Provide a warm, welcoming experience for new employees as one of the first points of contact at the plant. Train new team members on essential systems including: Time clocks and badge use How to submit vacation requests How to view and understand attendance records Support new hires in navigating plant processes, expectations, and resources, fostering confidence and early success. Serve as an accessible, friendly resource for employee questions related to administrative systems and documentation. Daily Operations & Administration Ensure weekly Time & Attendance is fully completed by supervisors and submitted to Payroll on schedule. Accurately compile, post, and distribute performance reporting for weekly operations results. Maintain vacation schedules, call‑in logs, and attendance records with accuracy and confidentiality. Manage office supply ordering and support front‑desk reception needs as required—including welcoming guests and assisting with visitor flow. Maintain and update the plant SharePoint site and other communication platforms. Compliance & Site Support Assist in coordinating Work Force Management (WFM) system updates and providing training for supervisors. Support adherence to administrative standards tied to safety, quality, and operational readiness. Coordinate documentation and communication needed for audits or compliance checks. Collaboration & Communication Serve as a key communication bridge across departments and shifts—ensuring clarity, consistency, and follow-through. Support the Plant Director on administrative needs, scheduling, document preparation, and project coordination. Provide administrative support to other plant leadership team members as needed. Proactively identify process gaps and recommend improvements that strengthen efficiency and reduce friction.
