We're looking for an Administrative Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact at the agency in our Child Welfare Office in Sabine Parish, creating a welcoming environment for clients and visitors and providing administrative support that keeps our front office running smoothly. This position provides clerical, programmatic, and administrative support functions for staff, applicants and clients of the Sabine Parish Child Welfare office.

Job Duties:
Serves as Lead Coordinator for all administrative operations of the Sabine Parish (Many, LA) office. Provides personnel support to include timekeeping duties, FMLA paperwork, and reports. Provide receptionist duties Serve as liaison between clients, families and agency staff Performs duties related to purchasing of office supplies. Provides direct payment support to child welfare staff and clients Organize and maintain file room and files in accordance with established procedure and records retention policy. Perform other duties as assigned for the smooth operation of the office.

Appointment Type:
This position may be filled as a probational appointment or a job appointment that may last up to 48 months. Job appointments may convert to probational appointments. Also, it may be filled as a detail and promoted within 12 months or by promotion of a permanent classified employee.
Works Schedule:
Typically, work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Flexible work schedules are available after meeting certain criteria and is dependent upon the position you are applying for. Some positions require working shifts.
Career Progression:
This position participates in a Career Progression Group (CPG) and may be filled as an Administrative Coordinator 1, 2, or 3. The level at which the vacancy is filled will be determined by the qualifications of the candidate selected. This position provides the opportunity to advance within this job series. The actual starting salary depends on the education and experience of the selected applicant.
