As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a State Supervisor to lead and develop our Legal Support Team. This role is centered on leadership, operational excellence, and team development. The State Supervisor is responsible for driving performance, building a strong team culture, and ensuring efficient workflows across assigned states. While legal knowledge is valuable, success in this role is defined by the ability to lead people, solve problems, and continuously improve processes. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop a team of legal support staff to achieve departmental and firm goals Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Provide clear direction, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities Make recommendations regarding hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations Conduct timely and meaningful performance reviews Operational Oversight Direct and manage daily workflow to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness Monitor team productivity and proactively address performance gaps Allocate resources effectively to meet changing workload demands Partner with leadership to align staffing levels with firm-wide needs Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with attorneys, managers, and other departments to ensure seamless operations Maintain strong working relationships across the firm to support shared objectives Act as a communication bridge between leadership and support staff Process Improvement & Execution Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to improve workflows and outcomes Monitor state-level procedures and ensure consistent execution of firm standards Oversee training and onboarding to ensure team readiness and success Ensure timely completion of administrative responsibilities including timekeeping, scheduling, and reporting Accountability & Performance Management Ensure prompt execution of directives from firm leadership Track and manage departmental metrics and deadlines Maintain high standards for quality, compliance, and productivity Leadership Expectations At Stenger & Stenger, LLC, our State Supervisors embody the following: Competitive Spirit Driven to exceed goals and continuously raise the bar for team performance Motivates others to achieve and celebrate wins Leadership Excellence Leads by example with integrity, accountability, and professionalism Inspires trust, confidence, and engagement within the team Organization & Discipline Maintains structured, efficient systems to manage priorities and deadlines Ensures clarity and consistency in processes and expectations Innovation & Continuous Improvement Actively seeks better ways to work and encourages new ideas Embraces change and leads teams through process improvements Problem Solving & Troubleshooting Quickly identifies issues and implements effective solutions Approaches challenges with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field (Legal Studies preferred, but not required) Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience (legal environment preferred but not required) Strong organizational, communication, and team management skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and case management systems Experience in creditor's rights or civil litigation is a plus, but not the primary focus What Success Looks Like in This Role A highly engaged, accountable, and high-performing team Efficient workflows with measurable improvements in productivity Strong collaboration across departments A proactive leader who drives results while developing others
