Shane Smith Law is seeking a highly organized, driven, and growth-oriented professional to join our Case Management department as a Case Management Leadership Associate. This position is designed for individuals who demonstrate strong leadership potential and are interested in growing into a future Supervisor role. During an initial training and development period, you will work directly alongside department leadership, gaining hands-on experience in team operations, workflow management, reporting, quality control, and employee development. This is not a clerical or front-desk position. This role combines operational support, process oversight, and leadership development within a fast-paced personal injury law firm. Position Overview:
Full-Time | $42,000/yr | Onsite/In Person | Charlotte, NC Positions Hours:

Key Responsibilities Operational Support & Department Coordination Maintain and track departmental KPIs and reporting dashboards Assist with quality control audits and compliance reviews Monitor case progression milestones and identify workflow delays Support onboarding, training coordination, and employee development initiatives Process and monitor withdrawal-related documentation workflows Maintain internal tracking systems and reporting logs Prepare reports and documentation for leadership meetings Coordinate scheduling and internal communications Assist with workload management and resource allocation Identify inefficiencies and recommend workflow improvements Leadership Development Responsibilities Work closely with Case Management leadership to learn supervisory functions Participate in coaching, training, and accountability conversations Assist with monitoring team productivity and quality expectations Help ensure compliance with departmental procedures and standards Support implementation of process improvements and operational initiatives Develop leadership, communication, and performance management skills through hands-on experience Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of professional administrative, operational, case management, or leadership experience Bachelor's degree preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Experience tracking reports, metrics, deadlines, or compliance-related items Strong written and verbal communication skills High digital proficiency and comfort learning new software systems Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured, fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and follow-through Demonstrated leadership potential and desire for career growth Preferred Qualifications Experience in a law firm, personal injury firm, or professional services environment Experience supporting managers, supervisors, or leadership teams Experience training, mentoring, or coaching others Experience working with case management software or workflow systems Experience monitoring performance metrics or operational reporting Success Profile:
